ooop forgot a pic of Callie!!!

Callie was a realy trooper on the trip to the lot considering the fact that she had to be held most of the time. I didn't dare let her down in the dirt because her burn was still an open oozing wound and I was worried about infection.

Here she is enjoying a very sticky sucker....that I am sure was given to her by Aunt Jenny. :)

She loved the corn on the cob. It really kept her quiet for a few minutes. She was a fan of this baby back pack for the first 20 minutes or so but once she realized she was going to have to spent the majority of her time in the thing her opinion soon changed.

Grandpa's Mountain

We got to spend the 4th of July weekend at Grandpa's Mountain (aka The Lot or The Cabin). I really really love it there. Its not too hot and its beautiful and not over crowded.
I wish I was a better photographer. Luckily I have cute kids that make it work no matter how great I am at taking pictures. Here is Millie....she had a blast camping!!!

And here is again finally getting used to the big swing. He didn't want to go to high but I finally just gave him a big push and he ended up loving it!

And....here is being cheesy! He sure is cute though!

Busy Busy Busy

It has been a BUSY summer! We have lots of fun with family and friends and we have had a TON of work to do on our house! I'll try to get caught up with all we have done in July but it will surely take a while!
Here is Josh standing in our soon to be master bedroom. He has been working SO HARD!

I think he is cutting the backer board to put up in the bathroom in this picutre. He almost always has his iPod in while he works...... he must have a lot of songs on that thing because he has been working for at least 15 hours a day.

Josh and our friend Ty did all of the electric work (which saved us a TON of money). I have been really impressed with all of this things that Josh has learned to do during this addition.

This is my much talked about bathtub! Of course its almost done being tiled so you will those pics soon (ok...maybe in a month when I get caught up). I LOVE LOVE LOVE this bath tub and CANNOT wait to use it!

Burn Baby Burn

WARNING: GROSS PICTURE BELOW THE CUTENESS!!!!!

My poor little Callie pulled a curling iron off of the bathroom counter and then sat on it. :( Its been six days now and she is finally smiling a little. Not only did she have the burn but she also ran a fever for 4 days and she has an ear infection. She also had been mildly dehydrated.... so really she just hasn't felt well AT ALL! I have seriously held her for 6 days straight now! She will occasionally nap but when she is awake she wants mommy.

Here is the burn today. It is mostly first degree but you can see on the top burn where there are also some pretty severe second degree burns.

This is how it looked about 8 hours after it happened. The day it happened she really was sooooo good. I cried much more than she did.
