IT IS SO HARD!!!!!!! I know I sound like a whiney baby......but this whole being healthy thing is hard. On Saturday I took the kids to Burger King. Millie had gotten a coupon for a free hamburger and wanted to use it. It has been ultra cold here so I thought the kids would like to play on the playground there. I stopped at Subway for myself....so I was somewhat healthy. Later that day we took the kids bowling. Bowling was half price and they had free soda and hotdogs. So we ate out for lunch and dinner. I don't think my kids had any vegetables that entire day.
Last night we had whole wheat pasta for dinner though. The kids and I couldn't tell a difference at all. I really liked it!!!
In other news..... MILLIE TURNS 6 TOMORROW!!!! Where has the time gone??? I went to her kindergarten class yesterday, today is her birthday party, and then she gets to celebrate tomorrow with her family! School also gets out tomorrow!!!! Its such a fun time of year.
We are going camping on Friday. Its really hard to think about being healthy when we are going camping. Any great suggestions???

We are not that healthy either but I try my best, I had to make some changes since Olivia can't have any dairy so here are some things I have done.
Make our own pizza with whole wheat pizza dough, soy cheese and turkey peperoni. We love pizza and this has become one of our favorites...especially since I can't have real pizza :(
Made my own spagetti sauce and I ground up lots of veggies in the blender and added to it, to hide it. Haven't tried the whole wheat pasta yet though. I got the recipe from a book called the sneaky chef which helps you hide veggies in everything.
We don't use ground beef anymore, either ground chicken or turkey. I love ground chicken taco's they have actually become one of my favorites. I also switch it up and do taco salads every other time and break up some taco shells in it but to try to incorporate more salad instead of shells or tortillas. I also make chicken/turkey chilli that is pretty good.
For camping I always like to cut up lots of veggies carrots celery zuccini brocolli and make homemade ranch dressing, we snack on that instead of chips and cookies. I don't even take the chips and cookies anymore.
If you have it, you will eat it so just don't buy/bring it!
I stink at being healthy. I do hide veggies in my meatloaf. But I am sucky at all the rest. I always feel like whatever I can get Reese to eat will just have to do.
Hey Abbey, I saw this today on one of the blogs I follow and thought of you! Healthy poptarts!!

I live in Serbia and I have nurtured three children, they are now odrasla.Odrasli ljudi.Nisam they never took the hamburger, every day they've Cooking at home even though I worked 12 hours a day. It was hard.
Today, different lives, parents are more comfortable, and I think that they are ready to complete the sacrifice for their children.
Surely, and this is true, I have not had the opportunity over the weeks to come out with their children somewhere, we just did on Saturday or Sunday afternoon. We went to the playground, to visit relatives, swimming in the lake Palićko winter we sankali.Živeli are very modest and we are very much worked.
