Preggo Pic and Sunday Night Treats

Maybe one of these days I'll post a real picture of my preggo belly. This is as close as you're gonna get for now!!! I go in for my 30 week appt. on Wednesday and then I have to start making trips every other week. YUCK---the 2 hour drive to see the dr. gets old really fast when I have to go that often.

Last week it was Chocolate No Bake Cookies...this week we decided to continue the Sunday night treat tradition. We made these YUMMY Golden Grahams Smores! Mmmm! We'd like to make it a weekly tradition---any suggestions for quick, easy, kid-friendly treats?

Anytime that we are ready for church in time we have to take pictures. This is because it is pretty rare for us not to be literally running out the door to make it in time. It looks like I am kneeling with my knees up by my chest....NOPE, that just my huge preggo belly!!!






Heres Giggles and Monster licking their plates clean! Josh does the same thing after every meal so I can blame their bad manners on him. They sure do think they're funny!!!

Bear Lake Pics and Preggo Update!

While Josh was putting in our new floor last week the kids and I got to spend an awesome day at Bear Lake with Lori, A and S. If you haven't been to Bear Lake you definately need to add it to your list of things to do this summer!

I'm not that great of a photo cropper so not only do you get a picture of the cute kiddos but you also get my very attractive stomach too!

The other day someone requested a that I put a belly shot on my blog. The above photo will have to do. Why on earth would I want show the world something so horrible! At the park the other day my friend Melanie asked me when I am due. When I answer with "next week" her reply is "oh you really don't look that bad then!" So the rest of the girls at the park get a good laugh because they all know that I am only 28 weeks along. My friend Tye then says to Melanie, "If you thing she's huge now...in another month she won't be able to walk!" Haha...it gets worse. A new girl walks up to the group. Tye introduces her and tells us that she is pregnant too. Yeah...you can't tell this girl is pregnant at all!!! I asked her how far along she is---and you guessed it---she is only 2.5 weeks behind me!!! I felt like showing her my middle finger! Everyone else felt like laughing some more! Oh well...glad I could be the comic relief for my friends!
I wish the comments has stopped there but they didn't. The next day I went to get a pedicure. During the pedicure some lady walks in and tells me that its so great that I am pampering myself before the baby is born. I can see where the conversation is headed so I tell her that I hope to be in for a few more pedicures before the baby is born. Of course she asks me when I am due. So I tell her. Her reply...."Are you sure you're not having twins???" Oh brother! By the way...the pedicure was awesome. Josh tells me that my toes look good....I'm not sure though because my belly blocks my view of my feet!!!

My New House!!!

Okay...I didn't really get a new house. We have just made so many changes that it really does feel kinda new! I should post a picture of our old piano so that you'll know how much better our new one looks. The new one is about half the size as the old one...but way cooler!
We also got new flooring in the front room and kitchen. The carpet and linoleum we had was in horrible condition. I love my new floor! It totally changed the look of the house! And props to Josh for getting it done so quickly!!! He did an awesome job!

Josh also painted the basement! I love the colors that we chose! Now I am just in desperate need of some decorating help! Don't worry...the ugly green curtains will be gone soon!

Josh has been having fun making all sorts of ornaments! We have quite the collection of them now! It amazes me that he can come up with such intricate designs. I can't wait till we get to decorate our Christmas tree with them!

4th of July Fun!

We had a great time with my family up at the "LOT" for the 4th of July. The weather was great but the bugs were out in full force! Here is Bon just before her first Death Tower Jump of 2008! I am lucky this year and have the excuse of being pregnant! The truth is that even if I was not preggo there is no way I am doing it. A few things happened to me once I became a mom. #1. I am a big chicken! #2 My butt got way too big and I am not about to be the first one to break the branch that the swing is tied to!

Monster had a blast playing outside non-stop! He thinks he is super cool on this little motorcycle!

Giggles spent a good amount of her time with Zibby! I know you can't believe your eyes but she really is touching a dog in this picture and not screaming!!! I am not sure what came over her but she became a little obsessed. Poor Zibby!

When we got back to Grandma and Grandpa's we, of course, had to try out grandpa's new waterslide! Here is Giggles attempting to climb up it all be herself (with a little coaching from grandma)! The amazing thing is that she actually went down by herself. I guess her adventurous side is finally coming out!

Monster on the other hand....lets just say he is not too fond of it!!! I'm a mean mom and I made him sit in the pool long enough for me to get a picture! I'm such a mean mom!!!

I got bit by the Crafty Bug!!!

Something strange is happening to me!!!  I've been in Utah for a week now.  I spent sometime with my family up at the cabin lot.  While I was there I got a ton of mosquito bites and one great bit crafty bug bite.  I think it was all the time that I spent with my mom and my sisters.  The 5 of us aren't all together very often so we had a lot of fun!!!  I went with my sisters to a new quilt shop that is opening in my hometown and while I was there I decided that I need to make more crafty things.  In order to this though I am going to need a new sewing machine.  Josh even agreed to it!!!  So I am calling all crafters....what kind of machine should I get???
